SPRING AAU THUNDER BASKETBALL LEAGUE

 

4th Grade - High School

XL Thunder is proud to offer Spring AAU Basketball for all basketball players looking to improve their skill level, work within a positive team environment and learn the game from our USA Certified Coaching Staff! This Spring we will offer 3 different team options for players:

​

1.       Showcase Elite Teams – These teams will be made up of players that have the ability showcase their talents against the best players in the North East and experience a highly competitive travel circuit. In order to make a travel team you must attend a placement event and then be invited to participate by Coach Abiola Davids.

​

2.       Local Competitive Team – These teams will be made up of players that have the ability to play a local, Maine and NH competitive schedule on a weekly basis

​

3.       Developmental teams – These teams will be made up of players that are relatively new to the game of basketball and want to learn the game and develop their skill. Our developmental team will play in our in-house XL Thunder Players League.

Cost: $10 placement fee

Spring AAU Info - Showcase Elite:  INVITE ONLY (Must attend placements to be considered)

·         16-week program

·         Attend showcase, recruitment and higher-level basketball events

·         Multiple skill (Shooting, ball handling, finishing, footwork) options available

·         Strength trainer available (additional cost)

·         2-3 Practice sessions per week

·         $625 + uniform. $70

​·         $50 non-refundable deposit before/on placement day.  Uniform fee due at time of registration

Spring AAU Info - Competitive Local:

·         12-week program

·         20+ games 

·         Multiple skill (Shooting, ball handling, finishing, footwork) options available

·         Strength trainer available (additional cost)

·         2 Practice sessions per week

·         $425 + uniform $70

·         $50 non-refundable deposit before/on placement day.  Uniform fee due at time of registration

Payment Policy

-Payments need to be paid in full by the end of week three of each program.  If not paid players are suspended from play until account is brought current.  

-No future registration allowed until balance is paid for previous program/season.
